This week CINQ Technologies has taken an important step in its commitment with Global Pact. The first COP (Communication on Progress) held by the company was completed. CINQ joined the program in early 2009 and had a year to take actions about the Pact and send the COP to UN, institution which developed the project. The Global Pact aims to mobilize business community to adopt fundamental values internationally accepted in the human rights, work relations, environment and fighting corruption that are reflected in 10 principles. The COP could be sent in several formats. CINQ chose to send the model including: company´s CEO letter, Global Pact adherence confirmation, a report describing the changes which the company implemented to adapt to ONU´s project and a survey addressing all the principles of Global Pact applied by ETHOS Institute. The process of COP´s elaboration was a pleasure to everyone involved, because while the company was evaluating the results it could also value the great development of CINQ in just one year, as affiliated with the Global Pact. The current goal is to improve CINQ’s existing shares and increase them by 20% compared to 2009.
