Last week, between June 7th and 8th, CINQ Technologies took part in the 8th Forum of Urban Intelligence and Sustainability, also known as Greencities, in Malaga, Spain. The event is held annually, and focuses on technologies that implement improvements to the citizen’s life quality and smart city planning. In this edition, Greencities gathered 2.400 people from 200 cities and 38 countries.
Besides commercial and institutional products and services, many startups and technology companies were participating at the event, in synchrony with the government to search for solutions and reach common goals: to improve life’s quality and make possible important tools to the smart cities’ projects. IoT and Big Data were the main technologies addressed at this Greencities’ edition.
Because of its experience with the international industry experience, software projects on water-consumption telemetry, prepaid electric power and IoT initiatives, CINQ was one of the selected companies by Extenda, Trade Promotion Agency of Andalucia, to take part of the event.
Matthew Luchak, CINQ’s Global Account Manager, was at Greencities promoting CINQ and its solutions which can help plan smart cities. According to him, the event is a great opportunity to understand the segment’s demands in Europe and establish networking.
